Bernard Knight is starting a new series, the first book appearing in February 2010 from Severn House Publishers, London.
It is entitled WHERE DEATH DELIGHTS, and concerns a forensic pathologist who sets up in  practice in 1955, with a senior forensic scientist from the Metropolitan Police Laboratory. Dr Richard Pryor returns from Singapore to inherit a large house in the beautiful Wye Valley on the Welsh Border, where he and Angela Bray establish a
private forensic laboratory.
The theme is partly nostalgic and somewhat autobiographical, the author wanting to return to the halcyon days before political correctness!

The title is taken from a translation of a Latin epigram that is in the entrance hall of the
Chief Medical Examiner's Office and Morgue on First Avenue in New York City!
In 1977, Bernard Knight wrote the biography of its famous former Chief Medical Examiner, Dr Milton Helpern - a most successful book which went into five editions and  book clubs. Published by St Martins Press, NY, Harrap in London, with paperbacks by Signet Books (New America Press) and W H Allen Star Books in UK. (Hardback ISBN 0312 06211 7)
